Celebrate the ADA’s 35th Anniversary with SBANYS in Syracuse! Register to attend a celebration of ADA Anniversary on Saturday, 7/26 where the annual On the Trails event joins forces with the Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida! This is a First Mile Challenge along the Erie Canal event. We are inviting individuals from the disability community to walk, roll, or bike along the Erie Canal, enjoy a breakfast picnic, and visit with local vendors who provide health and wellness resources to people with disabilities. The intention is to celebrate the accomplishments of those with Spina Bifida and other disabilities, raise awareness about available local services, and help build connections and community for consumers in their regions. The event is free and registration is required.

This event is hosted by: The Spina Bifida Association of New York State, Central New York Adaptive Sports, Syracuse Parks and Rec, The Erie Canalway, ARISE Adaptive Design, Rochester Accessible Recreation, and The Joe Family Foundation for Disability Advocacy Inc. 

 

Participant Registration

Participation is free but registration is required!
The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Spina Bifida Association of New York State, Central New York Adaptive Sports, Erie Canalway, and The Joe Family Foundation for Disability Advocacy Inc. all costs expense, and liability arising out of my or my child’s participation in this event to benefit the Spina Bifida Association of New York State, Central New York Adaptive Sports, Erie Canalway, and The Joe Family Foundation for Disability Advocacy Inc. I do hereby waive all claims for damage or loss to me or my child’s person or property which may be caused by an act, by (Spina Bifida Association of New York State, Central New York Adaptive Sports, Erie Canalway, and The Joe Family Foundation for Disability Advocacy Inc.), its officers, agents or employers arising directly or indirectly from my or my child’s participation in this event. *Must be signed to register*
I grant full permission for (Spina Bifida Association of New York State, Central New York Adaptive Sports, Erie Canalway, and The Joe Family Foundation for Disability Advocacy Inc.) to use photos, videos, film or any other record of this event in which I may appear for a legitimate purpose. Participants under 18 must have this form signed by a parent or guardian. *Must be signed to register*

Vendor Registration

Vendors in the disability, adaptive recreation, and CNY region are invited to host a table at the upcoming 35th ADA Anniversary Celebration. You can bring up to 2 representatives from your agency.
