🏀 Adaptive Basketball Clinic: A Welcoming Space for Everyone! 

Join us for an exciting Adaptive Basketball Clinic, where inclusion and fun come together sponsored by the Spina Bifida Association of New York State and Endless Highway! Whether you’re new to adaptive sports or a seasoned athlete, this clinic is the perfect opportunity to explore the world of adaptive basketball in a supportive and welcoming environment. *Ages 7 and up can play and anyone can attend!

💡 What to Expect: 

  • Learn and Play: Discover the basics of adaptive basketball with experienced coaches from Rochester Wheels who’ll guide you every step of the way. 
  • Inclusion Focus: Learn how adaptive sports can help bridge the gap and promote inclusion in schools and communities.  
  • Community Connection: Build new friendships, share your journey, and join a dynamic community that embraces and celebrates everyone’s unique abilities. Don’t miss our special Meet and Greet with professional athletes members of the Rochester Wheels NWBA team and Paralympian Ryan Chalmers! 

This clinic is designed for participants of all skill levels and abilities. Whether you’re here to play or to learn more about adaptive sports, we can’t wait to welcome you! If you are a PE teacher or athletic director, take a look at this video to see why you should attend. 

There is a $5 registration fee for ALL attendees. Payment must be made before start of clinic. You can pay your registration fee by clicking the donate now button in the top right corner of the screen and putting in “Basketball Clinic” or you can mail a check: payable to Spina Bifida Association of NYS. By registering for this Adaptive Family Basketball Clinic, you and anyone in your registration party acknowledge that SBANYS and Endless Highway has full permission to use photos, videos, film or any other record of this event in which you may appear for a legitimate purpose. You also agree to indemnify and hold harmless SBANYS and Endless Highway to all costs expense, and liability arising out of you or your child’s participation in this event. You do hereby waive all claims for damage or loss to you or your child’s person or property which may be caused by an act, by SBANYS and Endless Highway, its officers, agents or employers arising directly or indirectly from my or my child’s participation in this event. Must be signed YES to participate in the event.
This event will not provide supervision. Parents/caregivers must remain fully responsible for supervision at all times. Not every adaptive sport is for everybody. Our qualified staff will make recommendations regarding equipment use that prioritize the safety of all individuals involved. If we don’t have the perfect fit for you on site – don’t worry! Our adaptive EQ experts will be happy to discuss the wide range of options, adaptation possibilities, and resources.
