The Disability Summit for Change: Advocacy Event 2025 is a joint initiative of the Spina Bifida Association of New York State (SBANYS), New York Association on Independent Living (NYAIL), Independent Living Center of Hudson Valley (ILCHV), New York State Independent Living Council (NYSILC), Living Resources and Self Advocacy Association of New York State (SAANYS).
This is a free, hybrid event, taking place Sunday, January 12th, 2025, from 11:00am – 4:30pm EST online or at the Empire State Plaza in meeting rooms 2-4. This event will arm all those impacted by disabilities with information, connections, and resources to speak up and speak out. Our mission is to utilize the knowledge of the disability community and programs available in our state to elevate the disability voice in 2025.
Join us for an empowering event – in person with lunch, vendors, a keynote speaker, and sessions for all ages, or from the comfort of your device. Register to attend here! To secure your lunch, registration for in-person attendance is due by January 8th, all in-person registrations after January 8th are not guaranteed lunch.
