The Spina Bifida Association of New York State (SBANYS), in partnership with ARISE Adaptive Design, Rochester Accessible Adventures, and Upstate Medical Center, will host the inaugural Transportation Summit on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Syracuse, NY.

This event aims to:

1. Educate individuals with disabilities and their families on transportation options and advocacy for inclusivity.
2. Engage transportation leaders to promote inclusive practices and replicable business models in Central New York and beyond.
3. Inform policymakers about the critical role of inclusive transportation in enabling full societal participation for people with disabilities.

Attendees will gain resources, connections, and strategic insights to address immediate and long-term transportation needs, fostering greater accessibility across New York State.
