Adaptive Recreation
There is power in play~ Adaptive recreation can be a crucial part in someone’s life as it has a positive impact on someone’s physical health, mental health, social life, and community. Playing and sampling more than one sport provides opportunity for individuals to grow physically and emotionally. The Spina Bifida Association of New York State has compiled a list of adaptive sports and recreation resources from across the state that individuals living with Spina Bifida can join.
