Y-Knot Sailing

Join SBANYS on August 9th for FREE adaptive sailing with Y-Knot Sailing at Camp Chingachgook!

Please register as a SAILOR and join others in our community on that day for a great day of sailing! Lunch is included by Y-Knot. Registration is on a first come first serve basis!!!!!

SCHEDULE: 

11:30 am   Arrival & check in for ALL sailors, Lunch (provided by Camp) & Chalk Talk

12:00 pm   Volunteers Help Sailors Into Boats

3:00 pm    Wrap-Up Sailing, Return to Docks

3:30 pm    De-rig and clean up

Packing list:

• Warm layers – windbreaker or fleece jacket
• Raincoat
• PFD (Camp Chingachgook will provide PFD’s (lifejackets), but if you choose to bring your own it will be inspected by Chingachgook staff before being permitted for use)
• Re-Useable water bottle – In an effort to reduce waste, Camp will be providing water jugs that sailors and volunteers can fill their water bottles with.
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Hat with brim
• Towel
